By booking a photography session with LB Photography and paying the required booking fee, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all sessions booked with LB Photography. By proceeding with your booking and attending your session, you confirm your acceptance of these terms.

Booking & Payment

A £20 booking fee is required to secure your chosen date and time unless otherwise stated for a particular session or promotion.

Your session is only provisionally reserved until the booking fee has been received. If payment is not received within 24 hours, the session may be released and offered to another client.

The remaining balance is due at the start of your session, unless otherwise agreed in advance.

Prices are those stated at the time of booking. Future changes to LB Photography's prices will not affect an existing confirmed booking unless the client chooses to change to a new package or service.

Booking Fees, Cancellations & Rescheduling

Booking fees secure your chosen date and time and are non-refundable, subject to your statutory rights.

If you need to rearrange your session, please give as much notice as possible. Where reasonably possible, I will transfer your booking to another suitable available date.

Repeated rescheduling or last-minute cancellations may require a new booking fee before another date can be reserved.

If LB Photography has to cancel or rearrange your session due to illness, emergency or circumstances outside my reasonable control, I will offer an alternative date. If I am unable to provide the booked service, any payments for services not provided will be refunded as appropriate.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.

Illness

Please do not attend the studio if you, your child or another person attending the session is unwell.

I am more than happy to rearrange sessions due to genuine illness, particularly where babies and young children are involved. Please give as much notice as reasonably possible.

LB Photography reserves the right to stop or rearrange a session if someone arrives visibly unwell and continuing the session could present a risk to others.

Arrival & Lateness

Please arrive promptly for your session, as other clients may be booked before or afterwards.

If you arrive late, your session may need to be shortened to avoid affecting another client's booking.

Where a client arrives so late that the session can no longer reasonably take place, this may be treated as a missed appointment and another booking fee may be required to arrange a new session.

Children & Client Cooperation

Parents and guardians remain responsible for supervising their children at all times while at the studio.

Every child, baby and family is different and LB Photography cannot guarantee particular poses, expressions, smiles, photographs or combinations of images.

I will always do my best to achieve a varied selection of photographs, but the final results will depend on factors including the age, mood and cooperation of those attending and what can reasonably and safely be achieved during the session.

Newborn Sessions & Safety

All newborn sessions are baby led. Baby's comfort and safety will always take priority over achieving a particular photograph or pose.

No specific pose or photograph can be guaranteed. If I believe a pose or set-up cannot be achieved safely or comfortably, it will not be attempted or continued.

Parents/guardians must inform LB Photography of anything relevant to safely carrying out the session.

Cake Smash Sessions

Unless specifically stated otherwise, the client is responsible for providing the cake for Cake Smash sessions.

It is the parent/guardian's responsibility to ensure that the cake and any food brought into the studio is suitable for their child, including consideration of any allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements.

Please inform LB Photography of any known allergies or relevant requirements before the session.

Final Galleries & Number of Images

Your package includes all of the best images selected by LB Photography from your session and professionally edited to my finished standard, unless your particular package specifically states that a fixed number of images is included.

Any image numbers advertised for a session, such as “usually around 20–30 images”, are provided as an approximate guide only and are not guaranteed.

The final number of images will vary between sessions depending on what is achieved on the day.

LB Photography has creative discretion over which photographs are included in the final gallery.

Duplicate or very similar photographs, test images, missed focus, closed eyes, unsuitable expressions and images that do not meet my professional standard will not be supplied.

The number of photographs taken during your session does not represent the number of photographs that will be delivered.

Editing

All delivered photographs are edited in LB Photography's usual style.

By booking your session, you acknowledge that you have viewed examples of my work and understand the general photographic and editing style you are booking.

Reasonable minor corrections may be considered where appropriate. Extensive retouching, major alterations or editing outside my usual style may not be included and, where available, may incur an additional charge which will be agreed before the work is carried out.

RAW & Unedited Images

RAW files and unedited images are not provided.

Only photographs selected and professionally finished by LB Photography will be supplied as part of the final gallery.

Gallery Delivery & Downloads

Final images are supplied digitally through an online gallery unless otherwise agreed.

Turnaround times provided by LB Photography are estimates unless a specific deadline has been expressly agreed.

Once your gallery has been delivered, please download your images and keep your own backup copies.

Online galleries are not intended to act as permanent storage and may be removed after a reasonable period.

LB Photography cannot guarantee permanent storage or replacement of images indefinitely after the completed gallery has been delivered.

Copyright & Personal Use

Copyright in photographs created by LB Photography remains with LB Photography, in accordance with applicable copyright law.

Your purchased digital photographs are supplied for personal use, including downloading, printing for yourself and your family and sharing on your personal social-media accounts.

Images must not be sold, commercially reproduced, significantly altered, have filters applied which substantially change the finished work, or be used by another business for advertising or commercial purposes without prior permission from LB Photography.

Screenshots, Watermarks & Unpurchased Images

Where a proof or selection gallery is supplied as part of a package, any photographs that have not been purchased or included within the client's package remain the property of LB Photography.

Watermarked previews must not be screenshotted, copied, downloaded without permission, or altered to remove or obscure a watermark.

The use of software or AI tools to remove watermarks or reproduce unpurchased photographs is not permitted.

This does not apply to finished photographs that have been purchased and supplied to the client without a watermark.

Social Media & Promotional Use

LB Photography will only use client images for portfolio, website, social-media, advertising or promotional purposes where the appropriate permission has been obtained.

Permission to use images for promotional purposes can be discussed separately and is not automatically required simply because you have booked a session.

Where permission has been given, you may contact LB Photography if you subsequently have concerns about future promotional use.

Personal Belongings

Clients are responsible for their own belongings while attending the studio.

Please take reasonable care around studio equipment, props and furniture and ensure children are appropriately supervised.

Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms & Conditions are made available to clients before their booking is confirmed.

By paying your booking fee and proceeding with your booking, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

By subsequently attending and participating in your photography session, you continue to acknowledge the Terms & Conditions applying to your booking.
